In this interview Kevin Smith discusses his work on the aborted Superman movie. The one that was supposed to be directed by Tim Burton and starred Nicolas Cage. Say what you will about the man, Kevin Smith has some awesome stories to tell and quite a few hilarious anecdotes. It also illustrates a very chilling point; "Superman Returns" could have been much, *much* worse. PS: "Spiders are some of the most vicious killers in the insect kingdom." This sentence contains so many errors in so few words that my mind blew. Most spiders use webs and thus are not "vicious" killers. They are not insects. Insecta (or Pterygota and Apterygota) is not a Kingdom in the Linnaen System. PPS: Trying to edit this using a browser other than Chrome apparently can cause some odd formating to occur no matter what you do. I see what you did there Google. Whatever happened to "Don't be evil"?

Making Sense of the Mass Effect 3 Ending

MANY MANY SPOILERS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!




Apparently a whole theory has sprung up on the Internet to explain exactly why the Mass Effect 3 ending is illogical and irrational. Its called the "Indoctrination Theory" and for those who do not have time to watch both videos the basic thrust is this: Shepard, through long and varied contacts with Reaper technology, has been suffering from the effect of Indoctrination much like Saren was. Thus the ME3 ending where Shepard takes a breath at the very end of the video is the real one. The entire episode after the Harbinger's beam hit was all in Shepard's head. A battle of wills between our intrepid hero and the influence of the Reapers. This would also mean that I was right; the TRUE ending is coming in DLC....

Fileserve Banned Our IP

Seems like fileserve pull the plug on us due to some violation of their terms and conditions. Anyway I think its time to say good bye to these coniving companies who continues to advertise their product despite having such overbearing methods. No warnings letters. No probations. Just a simple 'out you go'.

Fileserve has Died-ed?

Hmmm whats your take on this? Seems like fileserve only allows user to download files they uploaded themselves.

I doubt this 'restriction' will stay. Just something to keep the heat off their back after 'the megaupload incident'.

Heck SOPA not even been approved yet. Looks like my theory of '杀一儆百' is in progress. In case the SOPA din get approve, they achieved their desired effect to reduce piracy or the means to do that.

Luckily for us, we have only 1 month of subscription left on our account. No major loss if the restriction din get lifted.

Fileserve Going No More

Hi guys,

our fileserve is expiring. So I would like to know if you guys wanna try out other available options? Somehow I think the dl speed for fileserve has significantly dropped over the past few months and I am barely hitting 200 KBps where else previously it was around 1MBps. We can try out a months or so to vet thru the service quality. Kindly let me know what other recommendations you have.

When Nature spawns fish that routinely attack crocodiles, I think its a message to stay the hell out of the water. Intelligent Design's underpinnings have an unstated message that everything was engineered for the benefit of Mankind... but there are and were animals that could squish us by accident. For example, Diprotodon is an extinct species of marsupial, essentially a two tonne wombat with proportionately sized koala claws. The Thylacoleo carnifex (yes, there actually is an animal named "carnifex") was a hundred kilo meat eater that ensured that no early human civilization settled Oz.

To put it succinctly Nature is badass, often terrifying and they didn't throw Christians to lions to watch Christians head butt the lions to death.
